"Strange travel suggestions are dancing lessons from God"--Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
"Travel hasn’t satisfied an appetite. It has created one"--Alby Mangels
I've been around for 34 years. Born in Odessa, Ukraine. In the States since 1991. A graduate of Binghamton University, I'm an AVP/Research Director for a U.S. Top-25 market research company, living and working in New York.
Travel is my passion. I absolutely love visiting new places, meeting different people, and learning new things. I have a big wall world map hanging over my workdesk as a constant reminder that there is more to life than waking up, going to work, getting home, eating dinner, watching TV and going back to sleep. It's too bad that there are so many places in the world I want to visit and so little time do that. But, I'm making progress. I have done many backpacking trips to Europe, and lately have made inroads into South America and Africa. Of all the places that I have visited, Gimmelwald remains my favorite spot to return to.
In September 2005, I successfuly summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895m/19,341ft). Most recent trips included Bolivia & Chile, Patagonia, Israel and Argentina-Brazil. Pictures from these trips and other travel photos are online. Click on the link below.
